This week has been eye-opening, to say the least. As I spoke to a few new clients, I realized a pattern and that’s why I need to ask YOU a serious question. Are you using your SYSTEMS as an excuse to stay stuck? Because if so, as your tech-loving Boss Witch, I have to say this with all due respect… “what the fuck?” We all know that having our systems, processes and tech in order is important. But once you have that all ready, you’re supposed to take action!
Let Your Systems Work FOR You
Here’s the deal. The whole purpose of having your systems set up is to make it easier for others to work with you, right? But how are they supposed to work with you if they haven’t even heard of you. Once you have solid processes in place, you have to put yourself out there so that your systems can do what they were created to do. Talk about your business, share what you do and how you can help… and brag about your awesome! By doing so, you’re allowing conversations to start, clients to come in, and beautiful reciprocal energy to start flowing. After all, that’s what money is, right? Energy!
It’s Not a Lack of Systems
Everyone comes to me saying, “Stephanie, I need a system.” Then we dive in, and ALL THE PIECES ARE THERE. In the words of Miguel from Coco, you make me un poco loco! Stop overthinking it and driving yourself crazy. Every time you go back and forth with your systems, what you are really doing is giving yourself busy work to avoid the tasks that are actually going to move your business forward. Maybe that means networking or creating your Social Media content. Whatever it is, fixing your systems for the hundredth time isn’t going to make it go away.
What’s REALLY Holding You Back?
Fear is a bitch. It can keep us running on the hamster wheel for so long. But when we realize that fear is normal, it’s a little bit easier to accept it and find ways to keep moving forward regardless. Take a moment to breathe deep and ask yourself “what’s really holding me back?” Is it the fear of what others will think or say? The fear that someone will judge you? If that’s the case, who cares?! The people who think or speak poorly of you are not the people you want to work with anyway. The systems you have set up are for those people who value you and your gifts.
When you are so aligned with what you do and are leaning into your magic by taking action, those people will be knocking down your virtual door to work with you. It’s time to let yourself come out of the shadows and let people see just how much of a magical badass you are. Let yourself know it’s SAFE to move forward. Your systems are there as a safety net to catch you and make things run smoothly.
